This 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kasese, Uganda.
Day One: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Meet and assist by our representative at your Kampala hotel or residence at 07.00hrs. Proceed via the Equator, through the Ankole-Masaka dry corridor, past Lake Mburo game park whereby if you are a lucky one, you may not miss spotting the common Zebras and kobs as they graze near the road and finally, through volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lakes George and Edward amidst game-filled plains. In the late afternoon, have an introductory game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to catch glimpse of some of the amazing animal species resident in the park. Retire at your preferred accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day Two: Game Viewing and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up and follow your adventure instincts on a sunrise game drive in Kasenyi plains. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes, and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife.
Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop, provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, de Fassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi, and bushbuck.
In the afternoon, a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel. The boat cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant.
You will be privileged to see schools of hippos and Nile-crocodiles sunbathing and opening wide their saw-like jaws. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodging.
Day Three: Return to Kampala
Enjoy sunrise in Queen Elizabeth. After morning breakfast, check out and have your last game drive in Queen Elizabeth. Thereafter, exit the park for your journey back to Kampala with lunch en-route.
Drop off at your accommodation in Kampala or if having an onward journey, at Entebbe airport in time for your departure flight.
Note: On this day, you can opt for chimpanzee trekking at the Kyambura section of Queen Elizabeth Conservation Area if interested and with time permitting.
