This 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour takes you to Volcanoes National Park for a thrilling mountain gorilla trekking experience.
Day One: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Pick up from your Kigali hotel by our smiling tour guide who will brief you about your safari. Thereafter, transfer through villages, hills, and valleys to Volcanoes National Park for overnight.
Day Two: Gorilla Trekking in Parc National des Volcans
Enjoy sunrise in Musanze. After morning breakfast, report to the park headquarters in Kinigi for pre-briefing prior to your gorilla trek. Found in the north of Rwanda, the park habituates approximately 300 mountain gorillas. Thirteen Gorilla families are habituated for tracking. In a group of 8 pax, go trailing the gorillas and once you find them, have an hour’s experience and photography of the mountain gorillas. After your gorilla adventure, return to your accommodation and stay at leisure the rest of the day. Visit twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo later in the afternoon if desired. Dinner and overnight at your preferred accommodation.
Day Three: Parc National des Volcans to Kigali
Partake any of the available optional activities in Volcanoes NP on payment of extra if desired. You can choose from respective activities as below;
– Gorilla tracking for the second time
– Golden monkey trekking
– Visit Dian Fossey’s Research Centre and Grave
– Nature walk in the park
– One-day volcano hike (Visoke or Muhabura)
– Coffee tour
– Visit a local women’s project
– Musanze caves visit
Thereafter, transfer to Kigali with drop off at your residence/airport for your onward journey. For those having onward departure flights on this day, the check-in time for the flight must be from 18.00hrs onwards otherwise an additional night in Kigali will be needed!
