Day One: Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi National Park
You will be picked from your hotel or residence in Entebbe or Kampala by your tour guide from Gorilla Riddles. Take a long ride across the Equator, through savannah grasslands and via Kigezi highlands also known as the “Switzerland of Africa” to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in South Western Uganda. Arrival in the evening in time for dinner and overnight
Day Two: First Time Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Enjoy sunrise in Bwindi! After morning breakfast, report to the park headquarters in Bwindi for registration, pre-briefing and get a guide for your gorilla adventure. Enter the gorilla sanctuary and start your gorilla quest adventure. Bwindi is an exceptionally beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site; a magnificent green swathe of tangled rainforest on the steep ridges of the Western Rift Valley. It ranks as the destination with the highest number of habituated mountain gorillas in the world. An encounter with each gorilla family in Bwindi provides an experience that is totally different from any other. Coming face-to-face with a Mountain Gorilla is an awesome, truly humbling and emotional experience to be long savored.
Day Three: Second Time Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Go gorilla trekking for the second time. Together with your packed lunch boxes and in company of your armed ranger guides, go trailing the gorillas to where a habituated group at a random site is roaming. You will spend a maximum of 1 hour with the Gorillas enjoying photographic moments of the Great Apes. All visitors are expected back to the starting point by 7:00 PM from where you will proceed to your respective accommodations for dinner and overnight.
Day Four: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
Morning breakfast, check out, and bid farewell to Bwindi for a long ride to Entebbe with lunch en-route. Shortly after Masaka town, a brief stop at the Equator for photo shoots and or buy souvenirs/gifts if desired. Drop off at your residence in Kampala or at the airport if having a departure flight out (the departure flight should have a check-in time from 19.00hrs onwards).
