Day One: Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for a departure journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. An en-route stopover to have a glimpse of the Equator as well as take photos then continue with your drive through several landscapes and amazing sceneries to Bwindi. Lunch break will be either at the Igongo cultural center or in Mbarara town.
Day Two: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Enjoy morning breakfast at your lodge. Thereafter, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority park headquarters in Bwindi for registration and briefing. Enter the gorilla sanctuary in search of the Great Apes! A close encounter face to face with the largest primate of Africa is a remarkable experience you will never forget in life. Day Three: Bwindi to Lake Buyonyi
Wake up to the calls of birds and sounds of the jungle in Bwindi. After breakfast, check out and bid farewell to Bwindi for a leisurely ride to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale District – also known as ‘’the Switzerland of Africa’’. The lake is between rolling hills with breathtaking green scenery. What mostly attracts people to Lake Bunyonyi is its zigzag pattern. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi visiting some of the amazing islands. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodging.
Day Four: Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala / Entebbe
Morning breakfast, check out, and take a long ride back to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en-route. Drop off at your hotel or residence in Kampala or if having an onward departure; at Entebbe airport in time for your connection flight.
