Safari Deposit:
To confirm your booking / safari, we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the land arrangements cost, full fees of permits (gorilla, chimpanzee, golden monkey, colobus monkeys) and flight tickets if needed for all travelers. The final balance of the trip must be paid 30 days (4 weeks) prior to safari.
If the safari deposit isn’t received as per desired date, we’ll assume that you have cancelled your trip. Flight tickets, permits as well as accommodation can only be secured upon receipt of the safari deposit.
Gorilla Riddles Ltd will not be responsible for price changes or over bookings in the time between booking and receiving the deposit. Payments can be made by bank transfer to our bank account in Uganda. Transfer costs must be paid by client(s).
Full Safari Payment:
The full safari payment due by a client(s) to Gorilla Riddles Ltd must be paid 30 days (4 weeks) prior to safari. Gorilla Riddles Ltd reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled if the full amount is not paid in due time. Bookings made within four weeks prior to safari must be paid in full immediately.
Cancellation Policy:
If a client(s) must cancel their safari / booking due to unavoidable circumstances, the cancellation must be done in writing and signed by the main contact person as per booking form. The applicable cancellation fees will be determined by when the written notice to cancel was received:
- 90+ days prior to arrival – a 100% refund of the safari payment made.
- 89-60 days prior to arrival – a 75% refund of the safari payment made.
- 59-30 days prior to arrival – a 50% refund of the safari payment made.
- 29-15 days prior to arrival – a 30% refund of the safari payment made.
- 14 days prior to arrival – NO REFUND.
Also, please note that as per policy by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), there are no refunds for any cancelled services like park fees, game drives, gorilla, chimpanzee, and golden monkey permits among others once paid. So, services once bought from UWA are nonrefundable!
