Day One: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
Pick up at 08.00hrs from your Kampala hotel or residence by our tour guide and rive to Lake Mburo National Park via the Uganda Equator.
En-route stopover at the Equator for photo moments as well as watch a demonstration by a local entrepreneur on how water swirls in opposite directions in the northern & southern hemispheres at the Equator point.
Continue to Lake Mburo accessing the park through Nshara gate arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Lake Mburo is a small but nice and interesting park. It is the only park in Uganda with Impalas and Zebras.
The park also has notable residents for example leopards, hyenas, moose, buffalos, topis, antelopes among others. In a bid to enhance the biodiversity and offerings of Lake Mburo National Park, the Uganda Wildlife Authority trans-located some 15 giraffes from Murchison Falls National Park to Lake Mburo.
In the park, you will also encounter more than 250 bird species. We will complete our day with a late afternoon game drive before we check in at our respective accommodation.
Day Two: In Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up to the rhythm of nature, attend a briefing by a ranger guide and then embark on a bush walk for a face-to-face encounter with the residents of Lake Mburo whilst on foot.
The walk creates an avenue for you to see animals as they lick the dewy rocks. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and sit still.
After lunch, enjoy a thrilling boat trip on Lake Mburo where you will see schools of hippopotamus as well as various water birds like the Carruther’s cisticolas, Brown-faced lapwing, Papyrus gonoleks, White-winged Warbler among others. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodging.
Day Three: Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala
Morning breakfsat, check out, and have your last game drive in Lake Mburo. After your game adventure, exit the park for your journey back to Kampala with lunch en-route.
Drop off at your accommodation in Kampala or if having an onward journey, at Entebbe airport in time for your departure flight.
